Epic has given away over US$2,000 worth of free games since 2018 but fortunately has now made more than US$1 billion with Fortnite mobile

A report has estimated that the Epic Games Store has given out more than US$2,000 worth of free games to subscribers since December 2018. Over 100 titles have been offered gratis, with GTA V being the latest. Fortunately for Epic, the company can subsidize this loss with the US$1 billion made by the mobile version of Fortnite alone.
