The Ryzen 9 4900U has appeared on 3DMark again, this time sporting a 4.3 GHz boost clock. Running on an "AMD Majolica-RN" motherboard, the Ryzen 9 4900U supports SMT across its 8 cores. Previously seen on UserBenchmark and advertised with the Yoga Slim 7, AMD is yet to confirm the existence of the Ryzen 9 Renoir APU.

QuoteThe default frequency of R7-4800U is 1.8GHz, the actual core frequency is up to 4.3GHz (officially declared 4.2GHz)
The default frequency of R7-4700U is 2.0GHz, the actual core frequency is up to 4.2GHz (officially declared 4.1GHz)
The default frequency of R7-4800H is 2.9GHz, the actual core frequency is up to 4.3GHz (officially declared 4.2GHz)

What happened with the notebookcheck review of Yoga slim 7? And also ideapad 5 and acer swift 3 on the market and no review yet here.

We need 4900u+3070/3080/23.
15w cpu+ 150w gpu? legit.

Indeed. We can have 10+hours battery for office work and when gaming 90% of power usage and cooling capacity can go to dGPU.

The fact that 4800u is more powerful than 10750H. It's nonsense to use 45w CPU+ 150w dGPU. Your laptop won't stay at maximum speed for long.

"h" is "u" with the stretched power limit. that's it, same chip.
you say to forbid renoir to consume the extra 20 watts and allow the geforce to consume the extra 20 watts. forcibly.
you can do this experiment now, in a current laptops, using some software i guess.

4800u can go to 27w. 4900u could be more performance, it will be enough for 3070/3080/23. Going for 45w 10750H for running 3070/3080/23 is totally nonsense.

"you say to forbid renoir to consume the extra 20 watts and allow the geforce to consume the extra 20 watts. forcibly. " ----> I have never ever said that.
