The Asus ZenBook Duo ScreenPad is incredibly useful, but watch out for these limitations

Two screens are better than one... in most cases, at least. Here are our biggest gripes about the dual-screen ZenBook Duo UX481 and what we would like to see improved on the next generation model.

This is a paradigm changer, so you need to use a bit of imagination. Desktop keyboards often have no wrist rest. If anything, what's more ergonomically important for the touch typist is keyboard angulation so with this laptop, pushing it forward 2-3 in is sufficient workaround to gain the benefits of the large screenpad short of buying and connecting another monitor!: use cases are numerous, and include work tasks on the main screen while multimedia or chatting on the screenpad, or simply gaining massive yet portable work space by using both screens as one.

I more wish the main screen was a touch screen, the screenpad tilted forward and stylus housed in the chassis. This way, would not have to make the screen pad brighter and could dispenser with the touch pad (and add some navigation buttons). Would thus be a flexible main computer for professionals, including physicians like me who still need to fill forms in pdf format and sign documents digitally while benefitting from being able to see multiple data bases at one glance.

The laptop ships with an attachable rest if you're really concerned about that. Pretty sure most people buying this are graphic designers, video editors or illustrators. None of which requires heavy typing. If you're a writer, this isn't for you and that's okay. I'm just happy to finally see innovation in the laptop game.
