Frankly, I don't understand the appeal of TWS earphones. I like banded designs not only from engineering perspective, but also from purely practical - they're much less likely to fall who knows where and it's easy to just pull them out and leave them hanging. Problem was never a cable between sides, but a cable going to a device. As long as the band is comfortable on the neck, it's my preferred solution.
