Lu Weibing, Xiaomi executive and general manager of Redmi, has been pondering the subject of Ingress Protection ratings on the Chinese social media site Weibo. The Redmi boss declared that IP53 was enough for the Redmi K30 Pro but was soon convinced by his followers that IP68 should be considered in regard to future smartphones.
