The summary numbers are just ridiculous.
The 6.7" 1440p120 10-bit Diamond screen is rated at 85% while the 6.1" 1080p60 8-bit Triangular-PenTile one on Huawei P40 is rated at 89%. Just for color accuracy?! (Also other reviews indicate that the Oppo is much more accurate in sRGB or P3 mode if needed) The Xiaomi's 1080p90 isn't bad at all but I have no idea where the extra 7% comes from.
The camera set is rated 72% while the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro is rated at 76% and the OnePlus 8 Pro at 77%. On the contrary, other reviews show that while the Xiaomi enjoyed some greater details at 1x and 2x, the Oppo is much more capable at 5x zoom, night shots especially ultrawide (the Xiaomi takes terrible UW night photos without an available night mode), macro, and video stabilization. Reviews also show that the OnePlus 8 Pro performs similarly except for the 5x zoom, which is not surprising at all given the similar hardware and shared software resources between Oppo and its spin-off. None of those are mentioned here and I can only find a seemingly motion blurred testing chart. What's going on?
For some reason the Xiaomi also wins in "Connectivity" with its 14 LTE bands and poor US coverage against the Oppo with its 25 LTE bands and much better US coverage.
The objective measurement numbers are nice but posting those arbitrary percentages is just misleading.
