Video-game retailer GameStop has stated that there should be no delay to the launch of the PlayStation 5 console later this year. A tenuous leak on an imageboard has suggested that both Daredevil and Wolverine could be headed to the PS5. A fun GPU comparison has revealed that the next-gen console's GPU's TFLOPS count is equivalent to 1,658 PS2 GPUs.

The PS2's GPU has 5.52 gigaflops and its CPU has 0.64 gigaflops. The PS5's GPU has 10276 gigaflops at 2.23 GHz and its CPU has 896 gigaflops at 3.50 GHz (all theoretical). Please, don't confuse total processing speed with GPU only processing speed. PS5 total is up to 11172 gigaflops. The PS5 has also 455x more RAM than the PS2. This makes PS5 up to 1813.6x faster in sheer "horsepower".
