The Galaxy A71 is a mid-range smartphone, but that does not mean that Samsung has done things by halves. I don't think they have revised the design except moving the selfie camera to the center. They rely on the virtual proximity sensor whereas the hardware IR sensor is removed causing issues like accidental pocket dials, Always on Display turning on in pocket, screen not turning on after call ends etc.
