The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip's default keyboard has a bug that can get quite annoying

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip's default keyboard seems to have a bug that automatically lowercases any letter typed in uppercase and this behavior is persistent even after fiddling around with the settings. It is not a big deal-breaker though, as users can still install third-party keyboards such as Gboard or SwiftKey.

The experiences with default vendor keyboard is always disappointing, happened to Asus, LG, Samsung, etc.

It becomes another "meme" close to internet explorer, which at least they provide a keyboard to install a better one.

Why they don't just installed a Gboard in the first place, or at least, an AOSP one, is beyond my understanding.

I understand in some region, there are special cases like Pinyin, Korean, but for the rest of the world which uses alphabet? Come on.

True. But someone who has invested quite a fortune on a phone would want basic functionality to work as expected. And not many would be inclined to fiddle around and see which keyboard works for their typing style. It's a not a big deal, but when I drop $1500 on a non-Apple phone I wouldn't be expecting such issues with inbox software even though I may be technically sound-enough to install a third-party keyboard app.

Well, all three companies you mentioned are based in countries where the primary language is non-alphabetical. Maybe alphabet is the special case?
