I feel for this lady, I too have an S7 edge and it's 3 yrs old and last week I noticed my otter case feeling a bit bulky from the rear so I removed it and sure enough the left side of the back plate on the phone is starting to separate, when I searched online on samsung's forums I learned that there were numerous people with this exact problem and showed pics (exactly like mine) and said it was the battery swelling up and needed to be replaced before it exploded. Contacted samsung and I explained to them what was happening and even sent them the different links that proved that the S7 edge battery had this exact problems and all I was told was since the warranty was over they wouldn't fix it, they said to take it to ubreakifix to get them to repair it, they then said even if it was under warranty it wouldn't be repaired since according to them this problem is considered liquid/physical damage and I'm on my own. I have never dropped the phone nor has it ever gotten wet, has been in the otter case since day 1.
