A Redditor has found that undervolting the GPU in the Dell XPS 15 7590 is necessary to prevent its throttling. The GTX 1650 in the latest XPS 15 is reported to throttle severely as soon as it hits 75 °C under load at the stock voltage of 800 mV. Lowering the maximum voltage to 700 mV was found to not only allow longer sustained performance but also lowered the operating voltage to 68 °C.

It maybe a work around but still a s*** product from DELL. You shouldn't have to go to these lengths to have a very expensive laptop work straight from the factory.
Sure power users that know their way around computers can put a bandaid on but it doesn't excuse DELL from anything.
Most everyday people that buy this computer will have no clue how to do this or know how to fix it.
Shame on DELL for not fixing anything even after the complaints from last gen.

According to Dave2D, a reviewer on YouTube, the new Macbook Pros and Razer Blade Pros are factory undervolted. So yeah Dell should factory undervolt theirs too because cooling technology just isn't there yet for all manufacturers.
