Findigen Entwicklern ist es gelungen, die Sicherheitsmechanismen einer Reihe von Apple-Geräte zu brechen, welche den A12- und A12X-Chip nutzen. Durch den Jailbreak fallen wie gewohnt einige Beschränkungen des sonst eher abgeschlossenen iOS-Systems.
