Intel confirms the existence of the Core i7 processor in last year's mysterious MacBook Air-like device

A device codenamed AAPJ140K1,1 appeared on Geekbench last year running macOS Mojave and the hitherto unknown Intel Core i7-8510Y. Now, a recent product change notification document has seemingly confirmed the processor's existence in along with the Core i5-8310Y.

We doubt that it will succeed the Core i5-8210Y with which Apple equipped last year's MacBook Air because Intel tends to distinguish its processors in denominations of 10 rather than 100

Wait...Intel uses a 100 denomination all the time.
