The Nokia 8 receives its stable Pie update but it's quite half-baked

HMD Global sent out the Android Pie update to the Nokia 8 a few days ago. This is the second major OS update the device has now received and will likely be the last. The update itself leaves a lot to be desired, however, with a few major Pie features found missing.

The update, however, brought with it future compatibility for anything that requires Android Pie, as well as finally bringing aptX for Bluetooth streaming and fixing compatibility issues with Samsung Smartwatches. The phone also continues to benefit from extremely timely security patches.

But hey, the Pie update doesn't have features that were never advertised with the phone when it was released, so let's all go get our burning pitchforks.
