Acer external graphics dock could be coming this September

You mention that the Acer R13 372t might not support the dock as it lacks Thunderbolt 3 support... but it does have a thunderbolt 3 port and is one of the machines used at CeBIT to demo the dock.   So did the R13 get support dropped for it or what?   

Not a lot of thunderbolt 3 choices today if your buying now but want to get a dock when they are available and the R13 is high on my list so knowing about this would be a big help.

Ah, translation mistake. Thanks for pointing that out as the Aspire R13 does indeed ship with Thunderbolt 3.

Are you sure that the German version of Acer Alpha Switch 12 will not have Thunderbolt 3?

to quote Acer UK from FB " Hi Ian - heard back. The US version/spec of the Switch Alpha 12 will have Thunderbolt 3 connector, the UK version will not. Hope that clarifies. Thank you."
