More power. The GeForce GTX 970M is significantly more powerful than the previously tested GE62 model (GeForce GTX 965M). Sadly, even this 4K panel does not make the cut.

Question to author has MSI finally fixed issue with battery drain during heavy load/gaming?

 Battery drain during heavy load/gaming hasn't been fixed. I have 17 inch brother and i have 20-25% battery drain per hour. When 30% battery capacity is achieved processor downlocks itself to 2.9 max turbo on 4 cores (3.4 typical frequency) and GPU downclock bellow standard clock as well. This LOW PERFORMANCE! mode is active till battery reach at least 80%...

This laptop would have been great but with this fatal flaw is just a garbage not worth looking until MSI fix this "feature"...
