Amazon.com hat für sein 3. Quartal 2014 einen Rekordverlust von 437 Millionen US-Dollar eingefahren. Der Umsatz stieg auf 20,6 Milliarden US-Dollar. Microsoft legte beim Umsatz ebenfalls kräftig zu, der Gewinn sank auf 4,54 Mrd. Dollar.
