Apple hat für den Begriff iWatch in Japan Markenschutz beantragt. Bisher hat Apple aber keine Smartwatch mit dem Namen iWatch bestätigt. Allerdings gilt als sicher, dass der iPhone-Konzern aus Cupertino an einer entsprechenden Armbanduhr arbeitet.
