The demand for the Switch 2 in the US and Canada has been overwhelming for Nintendo and it states that those who registered their interest in purchasing the console might not get a delivery on launch day. The first wave of invites will go out on May 8.

This is titled so misleadingly, the title insinuates that all preorders will be delayed from every retailer. That is not the case. The invites to order from Nintendo directly may not emailed out till after the launch date. And those emails start going out May 8th. This articles title is trying to capitalize on the fear from the tariff delays, with a title that is not even remotely true. There is no deliveries being delayed just the invites from Nintendo to purchase directly. This is fear mongering, blatantly untrue, and most of all shady and you're knowingly doing this to get clicks cause you can't write an actual interesting article so instead you're being deceptive.
Also this is verbatim of a article on boing boing or something too.
