Intel is pulling the plug on the Intel Unison app that allows owners of an Android or iPhone to connect their phone to a Windows PC. The app will be discontinued at the end of June 2025 but will work for select Lenovo computers until the end of the year.

Phone Link was an overachieving good idea taken too far - not surprising that a limited edition version is being cancelled.
I still have bad memories of Phone Link refusing to let my phone call go to my AirPods - I'd switch, and it would pull the call back to the PC audio in less than 1 second.  Did it not occur to Intel that someone might want to have a private talk that didn't use PC audio, and when answering their PHONE, they might try to use PHONE controls to move the BT connection away from the PC?
Apparently not... which is why I will never use something like that again.
Also, dangerous if on company PC - who knows what you will receive and get notified about on your IT monitored desktop.
