We will never get this in the US. Why? Because the American car market is infuriating. The rest of the world gets the latest in vehicle innovations and the widest variety of vehicles to buy, and all we get is an array of boring, outrageously expensive and stupefyingly large people-pulverizers with blinding headlights.

This is, of course, thanks to GOVERNMENT. Thanks to terrible legislation (looking at you, CAFE) and idiotic vehicle safety administrations which are 15-20 years behind the rest of the world. It's mindblowing to see literally the same automakers offering far more advanced, non-blinding high beam systems overseas, or non-hybrid vehicles which offer 70+ MPG to name a couple of examples...

Isn't that the case for every country around? Corvette is basically a luxury car here in the EU as it's more than 2x expensive than it is in the US where it's just a regular fairly inexpensive* sports car.

*Still expensive but not to such degree as in the EU.
