Casio has brought the MTG-B2000YST1 to the US after a UK launch, and it combines a storm-inspired gradient bezel with durable carbon and steel. It's packed with solar charging, Bluetooth sync, and 200m water resistance.

I'm sorry Casio, while I'm a big fan of many of your older G-Shock watches (and own a handful of them) this offering is priced 10x to much for my tastes.

Now *if* it were offered at < $200USD a copy I might of picked one up, however at its current price point (and given the market competition from SMART watches) it is rather doubtful you'll sell many of these.

MTG and MRG were never cheap, GeorgeS. I own an MTG-B3000FR-1A and that thing is worth every cent for a G-Shock-head (which I consider myself to be). My GW-5000U-1 and GWG-2000-1A1 are still two of my favourite G-Shocks though (actually I don't own anything else but G-Shocks).
