Its heavy 214g likely from the glass back (I reckon) and metal where other models are using plastic..but its not thick.
at 7mm unfolded and 15mm folded, most of the other is thicker.. but the camerabump with display maybe is the reason why OP mention thickness.
I haven't any other foldable to compare it to, so I lack the perspective.
I (Denmark) purchased it from China 272$, at Singles day, and also used cashback, that were 20% at 11-11. but that takes months, but if that goes well, its like 220$ + danish EUVAT....really not a lot.

And it seems to have the best screen of the bunch, that can manage close to 1200nits (in practise, article) most other FLIP phones are between 800 and 900nits.. only Galaxy Flip6 is up around the same..
Nubia flip is also quite fast on WIFI.. a tad under 1000MB in 24G and not far from 2000 in 6GHz with 6E, again.. way above the other budget flips.
Also like the dual sim, and decent storage space.

One thing I was surprised about is the wideness of the screen.. most of the pictures i Have seen of other flip phones looks very narrow..
is this Nubia flip wider for its 6.9" screen with its 1188p and 75.5mm.. most others like fx Razr models is 1080p wide and 74mm. same with all the other flip phones that also are 1080p and around 74mm wide..
and its not because the Nubia flip got bigger bezels.. it got higher screen to body ratio, and around +3.1cm2 then other foldable.. so that would be a plus in my book if you got a wider screen on the Nubia Flip?
