SteamOS inches closer to third-party handhelds with Asus ROG Ally display and VRR support in Gamescope

It looks like the promised SteamOS ISO release is closer than we might have thought. Valve's Gamescope microcompositor recently received support for the Asus ROG Ally and Ally X displays and making them fully compatible with the SteamOS overlay and refresh rate slider.
