In the run-up to IFA, we had a chance to take a Closer look at the two new ThinkPad Laptops introduced in Berlin: The Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 AMD with the new glass touchpad and the featherweight Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 13 Aura Edition.

Very good laptop, what I don't like is the price, AMD has always been cheaper than Intel, but this laptop model has a high price for the business market.

You just have to wait for the sale prices to kick in 6+ months after being launched. Or catch one at the  Lenovo outlet. Almost always 40-60% off of MSRP.

The same applies to handhelds too now tho. Rog ally is almost half the price it was when first launched.

Laptops are so overpriced these days, that even if you wait 6 months and get the 50% off, I no longer see it as a deal anymore..

Literally the only laptop I'm willing to possibly pay 2000+ for might be strix halo (depending on how efficient it is) but apart from that I don't see the point of laptops.
