The Mi 11 from Xiaomi sets the bar pretty high in terms of price-performance for the year 2021. The Xiaomi flagship smartphone makes its debut with the latest high-end Snapdragon 888 processor, a 108 MP camera, a 120 Hz Super AMOLED panel, and Harman Kardon stereo speakers for a relatively low price. Find out here whether the Xiaomi phone is worth buying.

Such a detailed review, thanks for this! Shame about the battery life. If not for that, I'd buy this phone.

Best ever technical review website ever encountered, so far, in my professional careers. Generally avoids the hostile partisanship shown by most other reviewers.
Puzzled with the avoidance of the other flagship best seller, from Apple.  There are now many "on par" standards now, not just with this Mi 11.  This review does not know this, it seems. Lack of 3.5 mm socket, no internal extendible memory, slow & not yet reliable screen fingerprint sensors, buggy OEM applications when a very new product is released, & much better performing third party applications than most OEM applications.
In most technical publications, there are very high standards for technical journalism. In English, we do not end sentences a preposition with (my deliberate error), since this is poor grammar. Motoring journalists set a very high standard that the computer (including smartphones) have yet to reach.  This web publication show be very proud to be above par, so far, of a below par publishing standard in this part of technical journalism.
Very surprised that you used golf terms instead not the usual English terms. This is the new standard, on par, for technical journalism? Web search showed about 30 antonyms & synonyms for your chosen comparative jargon.

I am surprised at the "idle" time you get with this phone. I've got myself a Mi 11, and while I am definitely not a heavy user, I will frequently have it off the charger for ~2 full days with it getting into low tens percent battery remaining (eg. 12-14%).

As for camera, it is a bit underwhelming to be honest: I was hoping for a much better result out of it with quick subjects (kids) and low light (indoor during daylight or in evenings with lights on), which was the primary reason for me to splurge as much on a phone.
