You would have to PAY ME to buy an Intel laptop and I'm not joking about this. I owned a 2019 macbook pro with 6 cores 12 threads 32GB of RAM. During video conferences if i streamed from my camera and did desktop sharing, it was impossible to keep the Intel PowerPig Thighburner laptop alive. I had to set the fans manually to 100% to keep it from throttling away 90% of its performance - I'm not joking about this - the mouse would stop moving for5-10s at a time! Eventually, while fully plugged into an Apple 95w wall charger and reporting it was charging rapidly, the Intel PowerPig CPU would drain the new battery and the laptop would die.. this happened several times while I was streaming a software release!
They should change their marketing slogan.
"Intel. We're the mistake that used to be in your backpack!"
I'm buying a Zen5 laptop this week. I don't care if it has a 4090 and costs $1, if itd Intel, its Nosale with me!
