While the Xiaomi 15 series will launch in China as the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 phones, the Dimensity 9400 looks set to first feature on flagships from OPPO and Vivo, with the Find X8 and X300 series playing host to the MediaTek chipset.

The upcoming fierce battle between Media Tek dimensity 9400 and Qualcomm snapdragon 8 Gen 4 both of which will be fitted on their first 3nm node process will up the ante as premium chips insuring high performance in mobile devices. It'll be interesting to see if Media Tek has reached the level of Qualcomm when it comes to reputability as well as if their chips are as refined and prefected since Media Tek hasn't been around as long as Qualcomm.
