Star Wars Outlaws PC system requirements confirmed by Ubisoft

Ubisoft has revealed system requirements for Star Wars Outlaws. To play the game at 4K 60 FPS, you'll need a Ryzen 7 5800X3D/Core i7-12700K and a GeForce RTX 4080/Radeon RX 7900 XTX and run the game with an AI upscaler of your choice.

Here in August 2024 is should come to NOBODIES surprise that a AAA game needs a "beefy PC rig" to play with all the eye candy @ 4K resolutions & decent frame rates.

After all - it has BEEN LIKE THAT FOR YEARS!!!

Does the PRESS and/or the folks that OWN complete console systems that cost half as much as a high end video card really expect those consoles to have anywhere near the same performance?

I agree that upscaling should help less powerfull rigs, not be used for powerfull rigs to even achieve 4k ultra or 1440p 60fps (wtf 7800xt and it is still upscaled 1440p? Shame!).
It is the same as when the computer resources improve exponentially, so the software is more bruteforcing rather than being optimized like when there was couple kB of memory.
We know that especially Ubisoft won't give a damn, their gameplan is always quantity, not quality...
