And for the record, I for one wholly disagree with Jarrod's conclusion that this is a laptop to 'avoid'! Gaming laptops are primarily for playing games. No-one shells out this kind of money just to watch YouTube for hours on end on battery. If you look at Jarrod's chart & disregard the YouTube numbers, the battery performance of the LOQ 15 whilst playing The Witcher 3 is in the same ballpark as ALL of the laptops he puts up. Nor do I agree with his conclusion that there are better budget laptops out there at an equally low price. I've looked hard & in the UK they just don't exist!

Jarrod, like all YouTube reviewers, earns his daily crust plugging laptops. Notionally this is for his subscribers but his channel self-evidently benefits the industry that puts money in his pocket. Expert? Possibly. Always guaranteed to be 100% unbiased? Possibly not.

The title of his vid was 'Avoid this laptop!'. Clickbait much!! Yet his own numbers show when this GAMING LAPTOP is playing an actual GAME (The Witcher 3) on battery alone, the LOQ was middle of the pack with 14 of the laptops tested displaying WORSE battery life (this despite some having bigger batteries than the LOQ!).

Did he highlight this fact? No he did not. Did he draw attention to the ultra-low price of this laptop. No he did not. Rather he suggested there are better laptops out there for the same money citing the example of the Dell G15...except when I check it's price in the UK, it's £999 not $US 800! Funny that...

As for you? You sound less like a computer expert & more like a bolshy, know-it-all, attention seeking teenager who still lives with his mummy! Yours is an opinion I can happily dismiss....
