Lenovo Legion Y700 refresh announced with new Super Control Edition display before next-generation release

Lenovo has unveiled a refresh of the Legion Y700 (2023), which it recently released globally as the Legion Tab. now, the company has presented the Legion Y700 Super Control Edition, which is said to offer a 'a new gaming experience' thanks to an industry first display finish. There will be no next-generation Legion Y700 (2024) for a few more months yet, though.

I really hope they bring an official matte glass screen protector out for those of us who already have this tablet. I have been through quite a frustrating journey trying to find one (pretty sure one doesn't exist).There are matte films, but those were hard to find as well. The stylus that you can get for this tablet is great, especially when paired with the folio case, but I can't stand inking on a smooth screen. This is a mis-step I feel that Lenovo/Motorola has made for many of its products that have stylus support.

Like others as well, I was hoping that a refresh would include GPS, possible cellular options and a fingerprint reader (honestly just the fingerprint reader).The freestyle app could be improved to automatically enable hotspot on a cell phone for seamless data.
