I have to say it is the best performance laptop of its class. its really good for a business laptop its awesome by far a better laptop than apples I mac pro. this is a high end business laptop and serious work,

I had just got one Latitude E5450 and the first (and worst) thing is that it is very noisy with the default configuration.

The issue is the dealing of the fan speed the laptop is doing. All this happens with the I7 5600U version with turbo.

If you remove the turbo capabilities of the processor (it can be done in the BIOS config), the laptop is silent. If not, even opening a web page will set the fan to max speed for quite a while.

nice review; I just confused with tip of display, because you say that it is a IPS and on the DEL official site I found that it is actually WLED panel!?

Is there a mistake or they changed tip of display?

Just a note, we've purchased 4 of these laptops and 3 have been sent back to Dell due to motherboard failure, won't be getting anymore from Dell!

These are GARBAGE. Have over 20 of these at work and they are dropping like flies after less than 2 years. I've had 6 of these all develop a power issue where they either will not power on at all, or they no longer recognize the power adapter and will not charge the battery. Have had to do a motherboard swap in all of them. AVOID.

Despite the negative comments from other users: I have an E5450 for 4 years and am very happy with it.
Well, the SD card reader sometimes stops functioning.

Hi, the small round glass that's on the bottom right of the E5450 laptop, what's that for?
