System76 Cosmic desktop alpha release delayed as devs tease major strides for Pop!_OS DE

System76 says that while it will skip the alpha 1 release for its Cosmic desktop, essentially pushing the alpha release back to May, it is still planning on a full release of Cosmic by the end of September. The developer of the Pop!_OS Linux distribution also gave us a sneak peek at recent progress on the Cosmic apps, and things are looking quite tidy.
