miniLED is a useless crutch with a bunch of artifacts at the zone boundaries. And still, the contrast is mediocre in the region of 2000-30000:1, which is not enough to meet the HDR10 standard - which needs a minimum of 800000:1 for the minimum possible standard "True Black HDR 400" (400 nits of peak brightness and a maximum of 0.0005 nits of black level).

We don't need miniLED, we need microLED - an analogue of AMOLED, but without its terrible flickering, wildly glossy screen and quick burnout. And with real color resolution of 4k-8k.

And if they can't make microLED, then we need IPS from 1500:1 with an A-TW polarizer. It's enough. Moreover, LG has Black IPS with real 1800:1+. And they also own the patent for the A-TW polarizer.

And the bogeyman nameplate "AI" is becoming the same thing that 10 years ago there was the prefix "nano", which was put on everything by business swindlers for ordinary idiot consumers.
