In addition to the interior and exterior design refresh, this year's Dacia Spring comes with the best loading capacity in the segment, a customizable digital dashboard with a 7-inch screen alongside a 10-inch multimedia central display. The engine provides 65 HP and helps the car achieve a 14.6 kWh/100 km range (WLTP mixed cycle).

This is not the future. A new car that has 65hp and a top speed of 77mph.... so it won't be able to do 70mph uphill. I expect the acceleration from 50mph to 70mph will take a long time, so it can't really overtake anything.

35 years after the fall of the Soviet Union, the Yugo is released again in the West to great excitement.

I'm pretty sure they target cities-only, you don't really need more than 30-40 mph to drive through your city centre (laws and stuff). But in general I fully agree with your comment, that fragmentation is only making more ewaste in the end; one car for city, one car to leave your city, one car for long-distance travel... Pointless.

A friend of mine recently got one. He had an Opel Astra before/still has it. He even used the Spring for trips of around 200 miles, with a single stop for some charging. As long as you don't want to go with it on the highway, it's a quite decent and useful car. If you are single or just a pair without too much luggage, I'd recommend a pair of e-bikes instead. :)

lmao

so you have to have another car along with this one, for highways, but overall build and interior are cheap, as is the price
so it's like "a second car for poor people"? can they even afford having two cars? "my other car is a BMW" sticker included? what's the target audience of this except people who don't understand what they are paying for
