Onyx has started selling the BOOX Tab Ultra C Pro, a 10.3-inch E-reader with a colour E-ink display running Android 12. The BOOX Tab Ultra C Pro is now orderable in multiple markets, including the US, where it retails for US$649.99.

Onyx has pre-installed Android 12 on the BOOX Tab Ultra C Pro rather than a newer equivalent like Android 13 or Android 14

This is all the more disappointing that BOOX never updates its tablets to newer Android versions. Considering the cost of these tablets, they should at least receive years of security updates.
