Google Pixel 8: Teardown video reveals repair improvements and thinner graphite film than in Pixel 8 Pro

A teardown video of the Pixel 8 has highlighted the internal change that Google has made from the Pixel 7. Unfortunately, this year's smaller Pixel remains difficult to repair and appears to have a weaker cooling solution than the Pixel 8 Pro.

I have checked new Pixel 8 displays at the local electronics store, and the new Actua screens seem to be worse than the 7-series, in ergonomic PWM terms. I would not be surprised if people start complaining about eye strain. I will not be buying them. The smaller size of the Pixel 8 model is nice though. But still no WQHD like the great Razer Phone 2. Tall and narrow not for me, unless you're talking flip phones.
