It's just a complete shame for the Meteor Lake cores to again lose a colossal 1.5 times in PL1 mode in favor of outdated cores at "10nm++++". This is a shock!
PL1=55W/PL2=130W...start with 3900+ points in CBR15 and 2700+ sustained with 55W vs same sustained result for 185H on 105W! Shame for Meteor Lake and Dell developers! Meteor Lake with "7nm" from Intel is literally 2 times inferior in energy efficiency to outdated Raptor cores at "10nm+++++"! It's kind of surreal!

But here the same author clearly lied even more - according to his "review" it turns out that the 14900HX, at supposedly PL1=63W, produces as many as 4000+ points in CBR15. Do you believe these false numbers in this review?

Already the 3rd author assures that the 14900HX produces stable 3900+ points in CBR15 at PL1=90W versus the shameful 2700 points of the newest top-end Meteor Lake with PL1=105W!

After all this, is it worth reading NB reviews with such data, where they are convinced that the old Raptor cores are up to 1.5 times faster than the latest Intel cores with the same consumption?

Es ist enttäuschend, dass Dell bewusst erneut die Möglichkeit verpasst, ein hervorragend gekühltes (= schnell UND leise) Gamingnotebook zu bauen. Stattdessen immer der ultra dünne Mist, der nichts an Vorteilen bringt und das kindische und peinliche Spiel des "weltweit dünnsten Gamingnotebooks" auf die Spitze treibt.

Das 4 Lüfter Design ist eine brilliante Idee, aber Dell macht alles kaputt mit seinem ultra dünnen Design :-( Wenn es mindestens 6mm dicker wäre, wäre es immer noch ästhetisch schlank, aber hätte die beste Kühlung am Markt. Warum will Dell eigentlich nicht das Spiel "das beste Gamingnotebook" ausprobieren?

Vier Lüfter, je 6mm dicker, wären ein Gamechanger und würden endlich den ewigen Kritikpunkt hoher Lautstärke verstummen lassen und volle Leistung (die man teuer genug bezahlt) erbringen ohne dass das Notebook laut wird wie eine Jetengine. Das wäre ein Sofortkauf für mich.

Das ist jedem Hersteller seit 30 Jahren zu fragen. Das "beste Gerät" ist außerhalb der Vorstellungswelt der Hersteller ebenso wie die Endverbraucherwünsche vollumfänglich zu realisieren. Die Hersteller sehen vor lauter schneller $$$$$ nicht das zuverlässigste, dauerhafte Mittel zum Geldverdienen; selbst wenn manche von ihnen es phasenweise sehen, macht sie das schnelle Geld im Takt von Aktionärsversammlungen und Vorstansboni bald wieder blind.

Departments involved in the development of such garbage are akin to the department of development of sports cars - they do not bring profit (this is clearly not a mass product), but they allow a certain cohort of managers to suppress the pride. The facts always come to light when a company goes bankrupt and goes for government subsidies or an IPO (fool's money, if you're lucky) to stay afloat.

Look at Dell's market share in the PC/laptop market - 16%, HP - 21%. These are clearly not gaming laptops, but corporate solutions, because... Rarely does anyone buy these companies' products at retail. It has long been no longer particularly popular among consumers in terms of price/quality ratio.

Therefore, both companies do not care at all about divisions that make similar products and actually generate no or minimal income.

But the lies in the performance and consumption reviews are obvious - these are the facts I have proven above. That's not what you're discussing.
