At its Pinnacle of Performance event, Asus introduced the first 17-inch Zenbook Pro SKU powered by the AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX and Nvidia RTX 3050. The ZenBook Pro 17 features a 2.5K NanoEdge touch 165 Hz IPS panel with Dolby Vision support and is expected to go on sale from Q3 2022.

Where did you get the price and release date from? I simply couldn't find anything online. Thanks

It is not clear whether the Asus Zenbook Pro 17 supports USB4 or USB 3.2.

On its web page it is clearly mentioned USB 3.2, but on the same page there is the following footnote:

"14. Zenbook Pro 17 can support a maximum of four displays: the laptop's own display, plus three external displays attached to the two USB 4 Type-C® ports and the HDMI port."

This review and other also mention USB4.

I think this is a critical piece of information. I personally would not buy any computer that does not provide USB4 today.

the asus product page says the display is a 2,5K (2560 x 1440) Touchscreen with 165Hz/6ms.
However, you can only buy a FHD (1920 × 1080) IPS display.
Will there be another display option in the future? Will there be a 2023 model of the 17" Zenbook?
Thanks for info!

you can find it here
https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-Zenbook-Display-Graphics-UM6702RC-DS94T/dp/B0B358VT2P?th=1
but Asus never included USB4 as planned, which is a shame

in other countries it seems difficult to buy the touchscreen version and only FHD seems to be available

about an updated 2023 model I don't know, 17" is still kind of a niche product, who knows what there will be?
