A Russian weapons manufacturer claims that it has developed a Starlink terminal communication detection radar called Borshchevik which, according to a military blogger, will soon start testing with them on the battlefield. Ukraine counts on Elon Musk's Starlink satellite Internet terminals for both civilian and military communication.

Looks like this could be relatively countered with a software update. Just shut down the transmitter in starlink terminal to only send uplink when allowed by the user and upload as much data as possible in a upload burst, then shut down the transmission again. The starlink dish could also randomly select different sections of the sky to connect to satellites. The starlink user could also use Ethernet extenders to put the starlink dish in a remote location. It would even be better if the user had multiple remote dishes to choose from if possible. It would very hard for a radar to get a lock.
