Apple now offers its own M1 Max processors both in laptops as well as desktops, so some users might be interested in the differences. After we reviewed the new Mac Studio, we can say there are not that many and the MacBook Pro 16 is probably the better choice for most users.

Twoels

Same performance but $1000 more cost for the Max Studio vs MacBook Pro Max. RRP €2,529 vs    €3,669 implies a 32% price hike for the same performance. So there is no difference, only if you are an ascetic that eschews money. You can pretty much get a MacBook Air for that.

Common Sense

I'm still failing to see where the advantage of the MacBook is... This article literally mentions nothing giving the advantage to the MacBook except that it's... portable...

The studio is cheaper and it's not screwed to a display.
If what you need is a PC at home... Get the studio.
If you need mobility, get the MacBook.
As simple as that

No... It does have performance advantages... in sustained heavy workloads especially when all cores are maxed then it is noticeably better/faster than the macbook pro, because of the thermals!!!
