Panasonic said it is experiencing unprecedented demand for its electric vehicle batteries, especially for the ones it supplies to Tesla. Mass production of the groundbreaking 4680 cylindrical battery, for instance, will have to be pulled forward as Tesla has reportedly been leaning on Panasonic to work faster.
