AMD Ryzen 5000 processors are continuously dropping in price. At Micro Center, the 16-core Ryzen 9 5950X is going for US$520 which is US$280 cheaper than the launch MSRP of US$800. Although still discounted, prices on other retailers are above the ones offered by Micro Center.

Too bad Micro Center doesn't even exist here so, the price is still the same and higher than msrp, including the gpus

They typically have better deals and bigger discounts. But €529 is not much different from $520. Especially considering that the US price is without taxes and the German price will be all-inclusive (mandatory for retail). Even with free shipping, importing it from the US would be more expensive. In Germany, VAT alone is 19 %. And it's even higher in many other states. Actually, they make less money on it in Germany than in the US.
