The California Air Resources Board has issued a legislative proposal that strives for a complete ban on the sale of new gas-powered vehicles by 2035. That goes for plug-in hybrids, too, and will leave only electric and hydrogen-powered cars on the market, while the goal for 2026 is to triple the current sales of zero-emission vehicles in California.
