It manages to keep up with the Alder Lake-based Intel Core i5-12500H in the multi-core test but falls flat in the single-core part and offers a remarkable performance uplift over the AMD Ryzen 5 3600H.

This is not true at all. I can easily find a 5600U powered Notebook for ~600-800 EUR. You will not find a comparable Notebook with Intel. And if TDP is not a concern for you then you will easily find 5600H powered Notebooks for ~800-900 EUR. A comparable Intel Notebook with 11400H/11500H will cost you at least the same price.

So, in general Intel might have a broader range of models. Sure. But you still have enough choices on AMD's side. With some advantages in th 10-25W range. Which can be even less expensive than Intel.
