MediaTek wants a piece of the flagship pie and the Dimensity 9000 will kickstart its foray into higher-end smartphones. However, Samsung and Apple will indubitably be a major barrier in the flagship smartphone market especially in the US where channels are dominated by carriers.

It takes time to cure a long disease but it can still be cured. I think Mediatek would break into US market pretty soon.

I think this Mediatek chipset would be capable of breaking into the American market and would so well in the smartphones.
