Micron Technology released DRAM based on its latest 1-alpha (or 1α) 10 nanometer (nm) process for flagship-grade mobile devices earlier in 2021. Now, the resulting type of low-power DDR (LPDDR) is trickling down to lower-end smartphones. It is rated for increased memory density with reduced power consumption compared to its predecessor.
