The Xiaomi Redmi Display 27" is coming to Europe as the Mi Desktop Monitor 27"

Xiaomi is on the verge of releasing a 27-inch monitor in Europe. The 1080p and IPS monitor will arrive as the Mi Desktop Monitor 27" with TÜV Rheinland certification, a 75 Hz refresh rate and 300-nit peak brightness. The Mi Desktop Monitor 27" will launch in September.

I haven't looked into displays for years. 
Just out of curiosity, how does this one compare to other brands?
A friend just bought an LG 27MP59G-P with freesync for 149 € and image quality was pretty decent after heavy (non professional) calibrating.

Is this Xiaomi any better, or how come they are asking for that price?
