MSI Creator 17 refreshed with Intel Tiger Lake-H processors, mini-LED screen, and more

MSI has refreshed its professional Creator 17 notebook with some exciting new hardware, such as a mini-LED screen with 1,000 nits peak brightness, an Intel Core i9-11900HK processor, Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 graphics card, and more.

I hope the new 2021 Creator 17 will feature a better design with regard to the keyboard and placement of the touch pad.  Also, it would've been nice if the new 2021 Creator 17 featured a 120hz mini-LED panel (not 60hz).  Hopefully the 2021 Creator 17 mini-LED panel will have better black levels than the 2020 model, and local dimming zones that work with all content (and not just with HDR content, like the 2020 model).

Doesn't the fact that all the graphics cards are limited to 80W with 15W boost, mean that performance is likely to be very similar and not worth the money? I.e. a different laptop with same 16GB RTX 3080 such as the Alienware M17 which has 150W + 15W boost, would have much better performance?

Look pretty good, too bad they cut 1 USB-A port and it has only 6 heatpipes compared 7 on the previous gen. I also don't like seeing the POWER button on the keyboard, I definitely prefer it isolated.

This is the 2021 version and it's identical to the 2020 model as far as the display is concerned. Maybe you meant 2022?
