We are more than a year into the product cycle for the Galaxy3 watch. Samsung doesn't have Blood Pressure readings for the majority of the customers.  The ECG readings only work on Samsung Galaxy phones. Galaxy 3 owners only recently have access to accurate blood O2 saturation.

Why would we pay attention to new products with vaporware promises if the current product has not lived up to the pre-sales vaporware hype?

It's not so much that those features don't work as it is the fact that they haven't been approved by the FDA.  Other countries outside of the U.S. have been enjoying the blood pressure monitoring for some time now.  Can't really blame Samsung when the feature is there, but just not medically approved.

I think you can blame Samsung. Other watches selling in the same territories have various BP ECG etc working even though they are also not approved. They apps clearly state that they are guidance only and should not be taken as 100% fact. If smasung had have made clear that most of its functionality would not work Id have bought another manufacturers watch.

If it's WearOS, for me it's a big NO, i will keep my Watch3 forever and eventually i will switch to a Chinese brand. I'm surprised each time there's a forthcoming smartwatch from Samsung these rumors pop up...

Does the Galaxy 4 have the trip/fall sensor, not while exercising? I keep hearing that a Galaxy ? has this option along with the option to contact emergency help or EMS.

I live in the US and my BP works well and it's very accurate on my watch 3. It's plenty of links that has the APK for the BP just add it and quit complaining.

As for the 4 and wear OS. I'll buy it and hopefully we'll begin to get more app support from places like insta360 and dexcom where we don't have to pay for cracked apps and can get native support since no one wants to build on Tizen
